GRID Alternatives San Diego was one of 25 nonprofit recipients of Intuit's Elevate grant! The grant gave $10,000 to each nonprofit in unrestricted funding to advance economic mobility in their communities. We used these funds to expand access to no-cost solar energy and workforce training for careers in clean energy. GRID Alternatives is partnering with MAAC to provide in-person EV support services, including application support for the San Diego Clean Cars 4 All program!

We are co-hosting another Electric Vehicle Support Clinic on Tuesday, September 29th, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the MAAC Community Room at 1387 Third Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91911.

At this clinic, you will have the opportunity to:

Apply for the San Diego Clean Cars 4 All or SDG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate Program.

Submit any missing or updated documents for your existing application.

Review your Award Letter packet and ask questions about the vehicle purchase process.

Learn about other stackable programs and incentives you may be eligible for.

Get connected to MAAC's EV Access Program, where you may apply for special financing!

Whether you're just getting started or need assistance with your current application, our team will be available to help guide you through the process.

Looking for free health and community resources in San Diego?

The Community Health & Resource Fair is happening this Wednesday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jackie Robinson YMCA.

Free resources include health screenings, vaccinations, eye exams and glasses, dental screenings, CPR training, food distribution, health insurance information, and more. Free shuttle transportation is also available from select locations.

It's never been a better time to trade-in your old vehicle for an electric vehicle. Purchase or lease a clean vehicle and you may be eligible for up to $12,000 in incentives!

The Clean Cars 4 All (CC4A) program helps income-eligible San Diego residents take advantage of special incentives on new or used clean vehicles, or to get up to $7,500 for a pre-paid public transit card and/or e-bike! Participants must meet eligibility requirements, including trading in a 2009 or older vehicle, being income eligible, and a San Diego County resident!
