I’ve got to say, Mr. Terrance “TJ” Austin and Mr. Xavier Stinson, the actors in my play “SECOND CHANCES,” really made me proud at the African American Playwrights Group (AAPG) 4th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival. They followed my direction on embodying their character and rendered an outstanding performance!! I received so many testimonies from the audience who were inspired by the concept of using music as a medium for healing, forgiveness and reconciliation to transform relationships between fathers and sons and brothers and sisters. Other inspired audiences stated they related to the message that portrayed the family dynamics in the play and they too had experienced such dynamics with a family member and eventually given a second chance in their relationship.
