What an amazing evening at Passport to Safety! 🧡

Thank you to everyone who came out last Friday to learn about community resources, connect with local organizations, enjoy great music, and help raise awareness during Gun Violence Awareness Month.

Every survivor’s story matters. 💜

In this video, survivor Ava shares her experience and the impact the Violence Response Team (VRT), had on her healing journey. Bonnie, Director of the VRT, also discusses why addressing violence through healthcare is critical to supporting survivors and strengthening our communities.

Violence intervention works. 💜

The Violence Response Team was recently featured in an article highlighting Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) across Virginia.

Since 2019, Virginia's HVIPs have served nearly 10,000 patients and helped reduce re-injury rates to less than 3%.

The Bon Secours Violence Response Team is proud to be part of this life-saving work, supporting survivors, promoting healing, and helping break the cycle of violence in our communities.
