In 2026 alone, McDonald's of Virginia stores in the Greater Richmond Region have raised an incredible $241,824 to help families stay close when it matters most. 🏠

Whether they're asking every guest who passes through their doors and drive through to Round Up for Ronald McDonald House, volunteering, running wish list drives and more, their individual acts of kindness add up to make a major difference in the lives of families caring for a child in the hospital.

From our House to their stores, thank you to McDonald's for being an essential piece of our extraordinary impact on families in medical crisis.

This Family Friday, meet Latrina and her grandson Ivy! When you walk into the Ronald McDonald House in the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, it's not uncommon to see Latrina chatting with other families and "taking a load off" as she navigates a long day of appointments. For Latrina, the House represents a safe space where she can relax, enjoy a sense of community, and feel cared for by staff and volunteers. ❤️ 🏠

As we recognize this September, we're thinking of the NICU families supported by Ronald McDonald House programs around the world ❤️

Families like baby Grayson's.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
