Hi, I'm Sally!
My story didn't start out very easy. I came from a home with 18 other dogs, and when I arrived at the shelter, I had an open wound on my side and very little hair. Life had been tough, but thanks to a lot of care and love, I've come a long way.
Today, the wound is gone and all that's left is a scar. I've grown most of my beautiful coat back, too. The scar may tell part of my story, but it doesn't define who I am. What really defines me is my sweet personality and my love for people.
I'm still full of life, energy, and happiness. I walk well on a leash and enjoy stretching my legs in the yard, especially when I get the zoomies. But if I'm being honest, I'm not much of an outdoor adventurer. Hot weather, cold weather—I'd really rather be somewhere comfortable. After everything I've been through, I've decided climate-controlled living is the way to go!
My favorite place in the world is right next to my people. If you'll let me, I'll happily climb into your lap and stay there soaking up all the attention and affection I can get.
I get along well with other dogs, but toys? I could take them or leave them. I'd much rather spend my time getting cuddles, belly rubs, and loving on my favorite humans.
I've overcome a lot, and now I'm ready for the part of my story where I find a family of my own. One that sees past a scar and recognizes the sweet, loving dog underneath.

I've been waiting for someone to take me home, and if there's one thing I've learned during all that time, it's that every day is a good day to play!
If you're looking for a dog who will keep life exciting, you've found her!
I'm a ball of energy who's always ready to play. Whether it's chasing toys, running around the yard, or playing with my dog friends, I like to stay busy. Sitting still? That's not really my thing. There's just too much fun to be had!
I walk great on a leash and love getting out to see the world. In fact, I like to know what's going on at all times. If there's an adventure happening, a new person to meet, or something interesting to investigate, I'm probably already headed that way.
My toys are some of my favorite things, and I love having friends to play with. But once I've burned off all that energy, you'll discover another side of me. After a good play session, I'm more than happy to slow down and soak up all the love and attention you're willing to give... at least for a minute.
I'm the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and make sure there's never a dull moment. I'm ready to trade shelter life for a family, a yard, and someone to share all my adventures with.

I've watched my mom and my sisters find their forever home and I hope I am next.
One thing you should know about me is that I like to stay busy. I walk well on a leash and love spending time out in the yard. My absolute favorite game is fetch! Throw a ball and I'm off. And if you're one of my favorite people, I might even bring it back so we can do it all over again.
I like to think I'm the boss around here, and sometimes that gets me into a little trouble with the younger dogs. They don't always understand that I'm trying to keep order! While I still have some work to do when it comes to sharing my space with certain dogs, I do enjoy going on walks with other canine friends, so there's always hope and progress being made.
I've got a lot of personality packed into one dog. I'm playful, smart, and always ready to see what's going on around me. I'm ready to trade kennel life for a home where I can play fetch, go on adventures, and spend my evenings with a family of my own.

I'm still here waiting for my forever home, but I haven't let that stop me from making the most of every day.
I'm a friendly guy who loves meeting new people and making new dog friends. If there's someone new to say hello to, I'm usually first in line! I believe everyone is just a friend I haven't met yet.
I've gotten really good at walking on a leash and love getting out to explore. When playtime rolls around, you'll usually find me running around with my brother or playing with all the toys in the yard. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and I'm always ready for some fun.
With the weather heating up, I've started coming around to the pool too. I'm learning that cooling off in the water isn't such a bad idea after all!

I'm ready to find a family that can keep up with me!
I'm full of energy, always ready to play, and I love making new friends. Whether it's running around the yard, chasing toys, or wrestling with my dog buddies, I'm happiest when I'm having fun. I get along well with other dogs, but sometimes I get a little carried away. What can I say? When I play, I PLAY! Some dogs love my enthusiasm, while others need a break from my excitement every now and then.
I also walk great on a leash, which means I'm always ready for an adventure. Walks are one of my favorite things because there's so much to see, smell, and explore.
Now, I should probably admit that I can be a little stubborn sometimes. I like to think of it as having a strong personality. Besides, who among us doesn't have a stubborn streak once in a while?
The good news is that after I've burned off some of my energy, I'm all about the cuddles. I love attention, affection, and spending time with my people. Give me a chance to play, and I'll gladly settle in for some love afterward.

I feel like I have been here forever watching other dogs find their families while I keep hoping my turn will come.
I'm a sweet, happy girl who loves to jump, play, and spend time with people. I walk well on a leash and enjoy getting out to explore. I also get along great with other dogs, so I wouldn't mind having some canine friends in my new home.
Before coming to the shelter, I lived in a home with 18 other dogs. Many of my friends have already found loving families, and I'm so happy for them. But now it's my turn to dream about having a family of my own.
I don't need anything fancy…just a home where I'm loved, a soft place to sleep, and people who will give me the chance I've been waiting forever to receive.

Hello, I'm Fred!
I've been waiting for my forever home for some time now, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that life's best moments are the simple ones.
While some of the younger dogs are busy causing a commotion, I'm usually happy taking a stroll, exploring the yard, or soaking up attention from anyone willing to share a few pets and kind words. I love going for walks and checking out everything around me at my own pace.
I get along well with other dogs, and if I find the right playmate, you'll even see my fun and playful side come out. Just because I'm a little older than some of the others doesn't mean I've lost my spark. I've still got plenty of s***k left when the mood strikes!
The best part? I've already learned a lot of the thing’s humans like. I'm potty trained, leash trained, and know how to be a good companion. What I'm really looking for now is a family to share my days with and a soft place to rest my head at night.

Hi, I'm Ben!
I'm almost a year old and I am fully vaccinated. I've watched several friends find their forever family and I'm still hopeful that the perfect family is out there looking for me.
During my time here, I've learned a lot! One of my biggest accomplishments is becoming a pro at walking on a leash. I love getting out and exploring, and now I'm a great walking buddy. Although, I would still rather just run and play.
When I'm not showing off my leash skills, you'll probably find me splashing around in the water. Playing in pool is one of my favorite things to do! I also love to run, play, and have fun with my brother. We can turn any yard into an adventure.

Hi, I'm Earlene!
I've been patiently waiting for my forever home and during that time I've been busy learning, growing, and becoming the dog I was always meant to be.
When I first arrived at the shelter, the world felt a little scary. But with patience, kindness, and encouragement, I've come such a long way. I now walk on a leash, enjoy spending time with people, and I've discovered that attention and affection are pretty wonderful things. In fact, if you sit still long enough, I might just decide your lap is the perfect place to be!
The people here say I've really come out of my shell. The playful, happy dog they always saw inside my kennel is now showing herself outside too. I'm becoming more confident every day and love getting out to explore, play, and spend time with my favorite people.
I do best when I have a canine friend nearby to help boost my confidence. With the right introduction, I get along with just about everyone and enjoy having a buddy by my side.
I'm ready for the next chapter of my life. I don't need perfection, I just need someone willing to give me a chance. If you do, I promise you'll get to see the sweet, loving, playful girl that everyone here has fallen in love with.

Hi, my name is Ziggy,
I can come across as a tough guy sometimes, but if you take the time to get to know me, you'll find out there's a sweetheart hiding underneath all that attitude.
I'm a smart, energetic dog who likes to know what's going on around me. Sometimes that means I can be a little hard-headed. Okay, maybe more than a little. I tend to think my ideas are pretty good ones, and I don't always see a reason to change them.
When it comes to other dogs, I do best avoiding dominant males. I've had some bad experiences in the past, and because of that, I'm not always eager to make friends with dogs who want to be the boss. But that doesn't mean I don't have the potential to get along with the right companions.
The thing about me is that once I've had a chance to burn off some energy and settle down, a completely different side of my personality comes out. That's when you'll see the affectionate, loyal, loving dog that the people here know so well. I enjoy attention, companionship, and being around people who understand me.
I think sometimes people see my tough exterior before they get the chance to see my heart. The truth is, I'm still learning, still growing, and after all my time in a kennel, I'm more than ready for someone willing to look past first impressions.
Give me structure, patience, and a chance to decompress from all the chaos of kennel life, and I have no doubt I'll become an amazing companion.
