Huge congratulations to these incredible Wood County Livestock Show kids who were selected as the finalists for the Wood County Farm Bureau's photography contest! 📸

We were blown away by the talent and creativity shown by all the participants, and these top 10 truly captured the essence of Wood County!

• Cultivating the Future in Wood County!

We are thrilled to share that a local school in our county has been selected as a recipient of the Texas Farm Bureau "Learning From the Ground Up" Garden Grant!

To celebrate this blooming opportunity, our Board President, Jerry Jackson and our Agency Manager, Scott McKamie recently visited the school to present the garden fund check to one of our dedicated local 4th grade teachers. Mrs.Lang in Hawkins,Tx.
This program awards $500 grants from Texas Farm Bureau along with the possibility of matching funds from the local county farm bureau totaling $1,000.00!!

This grant isn't just about plants; it's about providing students with hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between the classroom and the farm. We are proud to support our educators as they grow the next generation of agricultural leaders.
