The Pink Tax—the higher cost of products marketed toward women and people who use traditionally feminine personal care items—is real. All September long, we’re turning awareness into action, and we’d love your help. 💗

Each year, our Women’s Resource Fair provides more than 200 women with free clothing, hygiene essentials, résumé support, wellness tools and connections to vital community resources—all under one roof.

Here are four ways to join us:

-Donate new, unopened and unexpired essentials—including undergarments, period products, toiletries and gender-affirming personal care items—Tuesday through Friday, September 1–30, from 10 AM–3 PM.

-Host a donation drive at your workplace, school, place of worship, club or within your own community.

- Volunteer at the Women’s Resource Fair on September 26 from 9 AM–5 PM.

-Make a financial contribution to help us continue providing programs that support women working toward economic independence and stability.

Swipe through for all the details—and help us fight the Pink Tax this September!

We’re looking for someone who can help job seekers feel more confident in today’s hiring process.

Dress for Success Oregon is seeking a volunteer to lead a Technology Upskilling Workshop focused on recorded video interviews—a step that’s becoming increasingly common in job applications but can be intimidating for many candidates.

You’ll help participants learn things like:
• Recording confident video interview responses
• Uploading videos to employer application platforms
• Basic video file management
• Presenting professionally on camera

You don’t need teaching experience—just a solid understanding of the technology, a patient approach, and a desire to help others succeed.

📍 In-person at our SE Portland office
🕒 Approximately 90 minutes
👥 Up to 20 participants

This opportunity is a great fit for recruiters, HR professionals, educators, IT professionals, marketers, communications specialists, or anyone comfortable navigating today’s digital workplace.

Last year, 75% of participants seeking employment through Dress for Success Oregon reported finding jobs as a direct result of our programs and support. Your knowledge could help someone take that next step.

Interested in volunteering? Please contact Han-Bee Kim at [email protected].

Because of you, we didn’t just meet our goal this year. We blew past it!

$314,000 raised at the Celebrate Success Gala — a 13% increase over last year, and beyond the stretch goal we’d quietly set for ourselves. In today’s nonprofit climate, that’s remarkable. And we don’t take it lightly.

What moved us most wasn’t just the number. It was the room. People showing up with intention and generosity at a time when causes are competing for every dollar. That kind of belief in a mission is rare, and we felt it.

WorkWell is moving into full operation. The work continues. And it’s possible because of YOU. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible sponsors: Ben Bridge Jewelers, US Bank, Alaska Airlines, Schwabe, Kaiser Permanente, and The Greenbrier Companies. We couldn’t do this without you.
