This bonded pair may be a little shy when you first meet them, but don’t let that fool you! Since settling in with their foster family, they’ve been coming out of their shells and showing off more of their wonderful personalities. They just need a family who understands that good things take time. Give them the space to feel safe, let them approach you at their own pace, and you’ll be rewarded with the joy of watching them blossom into the bunnies they were always meant to be.

🍵Chai is ready to steep her way into your heart! At just 9 months old, this larger lady is full of potential and ready to find her forever home.

She has excellent litter box habits, even when free-roaming. She is not destructive so she can be trusted to explore her surroundings. One of her favorite activities is lounging on the bed and hanging with the cats in her foster home. She’s still working on socialization, but would love the chance to have a bonded bunny friend to share her morning tea with.

Please help Chai find a home where she can relax, grow in confidence, and lounge on the bed. If you have a single bunny at home, Chai may be the perfect companion. Let’s find Chai her perfect blend!🫖

🎉We have another adoption announcement for you all! 🎉

Sisters, Eda and Zita, have been adopted by their foster family! We are over the moon excited that these two that they will spend their life with such an amazing family 🥹

A very special thanks to Norah for winning them over (we know she is their real mom 😂) and Dawna and Isaac for welcoming these nervous Nellie’s into the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for these two!

Tandoori (now named Taj) has been adopted by Rachel! And the best news, Taj now has a new bunny bff, Herman! We would say it was “love at first sight” but Taj is blind, so it was love at first snack 😂😋. These two older gents were instant soulmates ♥️

Meet the cutest bonded pair around 🥰

Frida and Opie are a bonded pair of buns who find comfort in one another and are getting more confident in foster care 💕

Frida (the lop) needs extra support maintaining her weight. She had a dental procedure where her top and bottom front teeth had to be removed due to the teeth growing up into her nose. Even though Frida is doing great eating her hay now, she is still thin and often needs extra pellets. This will mean her future adopter will have to be able to accommodate that while also making sure that Opie doesn’t get too large. Her ideal adopter would be able to continue to follow up with her vet, Dr. Ford at Southern Maine Hospital for Small Mammals, to make sure her teeth continue to look good.

Frida is around 3.5 years old and Opie is around 2 years. Frida is the more outgoing one (and the boss 💁🏻‍♀️) and Opie tends to be more nervous, but is easy to handle and great about his nails being clipped.

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon at the Beauty with Bunnies event at bei capelli, and our RCRR bunnies may have gotten a little too comfortable with the self-care lifestyle. They’ve now decided that nightly massages and thinly sliced cucumbers over their eyes are a MUST. Their fosters have officially been notified of their new nightly duties. 🤦🏻‍♀️💆‍♀️🥒

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to see us! We loved chatting with everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about our mission and, of course, meet some of our bunnies!

And a very special shoutout to Sam, Kim, and Lauren for volunteering their time and capturing some absolutely amazing photos and videos of our bunny superstars (don’t worry their amazing pictures and videos will be featured in following posts so don’t forget to follow our page)! We, and the bunnies, appreciate you all so much. 💕

💙🖤Frito & Pringle!

These two young lop-eared brothers are looking for a forever home, and honestly… they’re kind of a cutest lops around.

These two adorable little gentlemen have surprisingly great house manners! They have been doing well with free-roaming and, so far, have resisted the urge to turn anything they shouldn’t chew into a snack. They’re even working on mastering the litter box! They are about 90% of the way there, with just a little extra enthusiasm for leaving some poops right outside the box and occasionally, a blanket nearby gets a tiny sprinkle. But they’re working on reaching that 100%.

Pringle and Frito are young, learning, and figuring things out, but they’re off to a bun-tastical start. Now all they need is a family to love and spoil them forever. Apply today if you’re interested in adopting these two loveable cuties! 🐰🐰
