We're doing a podcast deep dive into the current draft of the proposed universal health plan for Oregon. We've recorded 3 episodes exploring the nitty gritty details of the summary document that the Universal Health Plan Governance Board released this spring. Part 1 this series answers questions like:

- who would be covered?
- how would people enroll?
- what happens to people on OHP (Medicaid)?
- would you have coverage if you go out of state?
- what health services are covered?

Coming soon: Part 2 will focus on what the plan is projected to cost and Part 3 will discuss how the new plan would be run. Take a listen and leave a comment on what else you'd like to know!

Health Care for All Oregon was excited to be invited to speak and table at the Portland Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Early Professionals of Portland (EPOP) event yesterday which was graciously hosted by the Oregon Lion’s Sight and Hearing Foundation in NW Portland. HCAO President Valdez Bravo was joined by HCAO volunteers Summer A. and Patrick L. in tabling and meeting with members of the business community. HCAO was able to share about our work and about Oregon’s Universal Health Plan. Everyone was so supportive and we got a ton of sign ups! There are so many benefits to having a universal health care system. Especially for small and large businesses who will save money on healthcare costs that can be reinvested into the company, gain competitive advantage, and who can attract talent to a state where healthcare is a public good! Thanks to everyone at EPOP who joined our movement and added their name of support! “Everybody In, Nobody Out!”
