Join us for an evening featuring four short films created by local youth. Through storytelling and film, these young leaders explore reproductive health, community, personal experiences, and the issues that matter most to people in the Rogue Valley.

Following the screening, youth participants will lead a panel discussion and conversation, providing an opportunity for community members to learn from their experiences, engage in dialogue, and celebrate the creativity and leadership of our young people.

We look forward to gathering with you for an evening of storytelling, learning, and community connection.

Join our team! Are you someone or someone you know, a skilled movement builder experienced in growing grassroots leaders from the ground up?

Unite Oregon seeks a visionary organizing director who is committed to the practice of transformative organizing and movement building. Unite Oregon is taking the time to strengthen our grassroots base. It’s a chance for members to build new skills and come into a deeper understanding of how immigrants, refugees, Black, Indigenous, people of color and rural people can come together to win working class demands for our families. We’re looking for an intuitive, emotionally intelligent and experienced trainer and movement builder that can contribute to building Unite’s base for years to come.

Eugene, let’s invest in clean energy, green jobs, and climate resilience—not corporate greed.

We need your help to get the Eugene Clean Energy Fund (ECEF) on the November ballot! 🗳️

✨ ECEF would create an estimated $15 million annually by placing a small fee on the profits of billion-dollar corporations to fund:
🌱 Climate justice projects
👷 Green jobs & workforce training
🏘️ Stronger, more resilient neighborhoods
❤️ Healthier communities through environmental justice

📣 We need 4,000 more signatures by July 21 to reach our goal!

Join us tomorrow night at L’Atelier Yaffe, Black-Owned PDX Cafe, Arts & Event Space for our next film night and dialogue featuring the film “Come Back, Africa.” 🎬

Filmed in secret in 1950s Johannesburg, this landmark film follows a young Zulu man navigating apartheid’s crushing systems to provide for his family. Director Lionel Rogosin embedded himself in Sophiatown, a thriving Black cultural center later razed by the state to build a whites-only suburb and worked with a largely nonprofessional cast, including activist and singer Miriam Makeba. The result is an unflinching look at state violence, and the community power that rose up against it.
