Portland Kiwanis

Portland Kiwanis The Portland Maine Kiwanis Club is dedicated to helping those less fortunate, especially children.

We support projects for underprivileged children, as well as work with a number of local agencies to help area youth. We sponsor seven youth levels of the Kiwanis Family, known as Service Leadership Programs. These include five Key Clubs at local high schools, a Circle K club at the University of Southern Maine, and an Aktion Club with STRIVE. FOR MORE INFORMATION: Please contact Club President T

✨We wanted to recognize our May Employee of the Month! Congratulations to Macy Carver who was nominated for the great work she does every day! 🤩

Below is one of her nominations:
"I would like to nominate Macy Carver for Employee of the Month! Macy has worked very hard to navigate several complicated situations this month and has been a strong and consistent source of support for her caseload! Macy collaborates well with the people she serves and their planning teams to problem-solve and find positive solutions. She has developed good rapport with her caseload and though these situations can be stressful, Macy maintains a positive attitude and is supportive of others, both in and out of the office. We are so grateful for Macy’s hard work, kindness, and dedication!" We're grateful to have you on the team, Macy!

This morning we took some students and robots up to the Hall of Flags at the State House with our friends from Bonny Eagle Robotics Team and Infinite Team 2648: Infinite Loop. A beautiful day for conversations about the importance of STEM and robotics with our legislators.
