🌿✨ Self-Care Saturday: A Beautiful Celebration of Wellness & Community ✨🌿

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Omega Chapter Mental Health Awareness Committee extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for Self-Care Saturday at the Pearl Center on May 30. Your presence helped make this event a meaningful and uplifting experience focused on mental wellness, self-care, and community connection.

A special thank you to our incredible presenters who shared their expertise and inspired us to prioritize our well-being:

💚 Dr. Christen Craig for leading a calming and restorative guided meditation that encouraged mindfulness and inner peace.

💚 Chinue Battiste Dawkins for educating attendees on the benefits of facial massage and demonstrating practical techniques for self-care.

💚 Anitra Stallworth for introducing participants to the benefits of seated yoga and guiding an engaging session that promoted movement and relaxation.

We are grateful to every attendee who participated, engaged, and embraced the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with themselves.

On Saturday, April 25, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®️, Omicron Omega Chapter, in partnership with The Cultural and Educational Advancement Foundation (CEAF), proudly hosted “Where Dreams Blossom: A Pink Scholarship Celebration.”

This inspiring event honored 32 outstanding scholars with scholarships totaling more than $80,000, made possible through a successful fundraising and the generosity of our donors and supporters.

Together, we are helping dreams blossom and creating opportunities that will make a lasting difference for generations to come.
