func_motorsports does it again!! 🏆

First overall two years in a row and three times in the past four years at Cascade's Festival of Endurance's long race. Their first place streak in the E1 class is now up to five years in a row. Driver's Matt Lowell, Corey Peters, and Bryce Scott along with a lightning fast pit crew were able to hold off Hank Moore and Chuck Hurley in a hotly contested E1 and overall win battle.

We'd like to thank all of the drivers, crew members, volunteers, and spectators who came out to the 51st running of the event.

Who is excited for the Ultimate Racer's weekend next month? Cascade's September 18th - 20th weekend features a Friday Test and Tune, double championship races on Saturday, and 2/4/6 hour enduros on Sunday!

The weekend features a lot of track time with different forms of racing which makes it the ultimate racer's weekend. The chicane will be used the entire weekend.

For the final event in Cascade Sports Car Club's 2026 Road Rally Series on Sept. 26, Rallymasters Torm Kelsey-Green and Kasey Klaus offer you a great rally.

The route includes a scenic transit along the Columbia River on Marine Drive, travel on the Historic Columbia River Highway, a drive by Crown Point, and a break at Latourell.

Starting at Milwaukie Lowe’s and ending in Happy Valley, the course is just under 100 miles and takes about four hours to complete. It’s a fun drive with lots of twisty roads and beautiful scenery.

Travel reminder!

For those attending CSCC's last PIR event weekend of the year on September 18th - 20th, I-5 southbound will be closed south of the track at the 405/84 interchange.

PBOT is expecting traffic backups southbound will extend north to the river and into Washington. Please plan accordingly, if you are coming down south from Washington plan for potential backups getting across the river and to the PIR exit.

For those in Oregon, Northbound I-5 will remain open. Expect very long delays getting south on I-5 at the end of the day all three nights.

The purpose of the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project is to improve safety and congestion where three major interstates converge and to reconnect the Albina neighborhood through the construction of a highway cover over a portion of I-5. Starting in northwest Portland, Cascade Sports Car Club's August 15 rally travels to Willamette Park in West Linn, then heads up Petes Mountain, over hill and dale, to a break in Newberg. Then south, through valley farmland, to arrive in Woodburn.

It’s a beautiful drive with just the right blend of rally spice – not too hot, not too bland. Sign up by August 12.
