SUBLEASE OPPORTUNITY! ⭐ Won't you be our neighbor? ⭐
Camp Fire Columbia has a big, beautiful office space on SW 3rd & Washington in downtown Portland, and we are looking for sublease partners to share our space. We have the 12th floor of the Spalding Building, which includes 3 private bathrooms, storage space, 3 meeting spaces, a kitchenette, and 9 vacant private office spaces. We are hoping to turn this big, beautiful space into a shared office with other nonprofits, small businesses, or other community groups looking for a reliable and centrally located workspace.

Hip Hip Hooray! It has officially been one month since Shine, but we couldn't let September begin without taking a moment to share some important thank-yous. Pulling off an event like Shine takes a team of hard-working supporters, and we were lucky to have a strong crew behind us. We are grateful to our volunteers, committee members, board members, staff, vendors, sponsors, and donors. We want to take a moment to acknowledge everyone who made this event possible. We are so lucky to have so many giving and kind folks in our corner!

Shine 2026 Photo Recap! August started off with a bang. Our second Shine event was a night full of joy, gratitude, and community. We welcomed over 130 new and old friends to camp, listened to the beautiful sounds of Kris Stuart & Marilee Hord, ate delicious food from Busy Bee Catering, laughed with Poison Waters, and raised OVER $105,000 for Camp Fire Columbia! Well beyond our goal for the night.

We are absolutely floored by the generosity of our community and their commitment to supporting transformational outdoor experiences for our young people. Thank you for preserving the programs that connect young people to nature, others, and themselves! 🌲🌲🌲

📣Camp Namanu Session 6 will move forward as scheduled! The air is slowly beginning to clear and the forecasts are looking great for the weekend. Our staff team will continue to monitor air quality throughout the rest of summer season but we are excited to see our campers again this Sunday!

Due to unhealthy AQI levels in the Mt. Hood and Sandy region, Camp Namanu Session 5 is ENDING EARLY and campers will need to be picked up TODAY at MHCC at 3:00 PM. Contact our registrar if you have questions or need alternative pick up options. Half Week Session 5B is CANCELLED.

If you have a camper on site or due to be on site this week, please check your email for additional information.

We know this is not the update that any of us were hoping for and we will do our best to make sure that your camper has a magical experience at Namanu until pickup today.
