Join us Wednesday, June 17 for the NWNC Luncheon on Native Child Care, SAIF benefits, technical assistance, and meaningful networking!

Our upcoming luncheon will focus on advancing Native-centered child care, featuring a keynote from Chenoa Landry (Puyallup) of Future Generations Collaborative. She will share her perspective on building healthy, accessible, and culturally specific child care systems, including insights on their child care infrastructure grant and the broader vision for the space at Barbie’s Village.

Attendees will also hear from State Accident Insurance Fund Corporation (SAIF), a not-for-profit workers’ compensation insurance organization, about workplace benefits and opportunities that support employers and workforce wellbeing. This will be followed by remarks from NWNC’s Tribal Technical Assistance Specialist, MyKel Johnson (Nez Perce), on the role of technical assistance.

The event will highlight Future Generations Collaborative as a growing hub for early childhood programming, public health, and community gatherings, alongside ongoing landback efforts — and will conclude with dedicated time for networking and connection.

Today is about showing up for Native-led nonprofits in a real way by donating, sharing, and helping fuel the work they’re already doing in communities across the country.

That same energy carries through the day and builds into Power Hour later. So don’t just sit back: post it, share it, tag it, comment on it, get loud about it, and help flood every feed with support for Native-led nonprofits everywhere!

But, more importantly, head over to the Native Nonprofit List, donate to a Native-led organization today, and share their Native Nonprofit Day content to help build momentum.
