This post includes an important update about OLHC and a Message from our Board.
Over the last month, we have been sharing this news with our staff as well as community partners, and today, we are sharing this with all of you. After careful reflection on the realities of a shifting financial landscape and the impact on our ability to sustain operations, on June 30, 2026, our organization will officially dissolve and we will close our doors.
We are profoundly grateful to the communities, partners, advocates, and supporters who have been part of OLHC’s journey. Your trust and collaboration have shaped our mission and strengthened our community impact. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing resources on where to find support with resources around:
-Oregon Health Plan enrollment and Health System Navigation
-Marketplace enrollment
-Health Equity Advocacy, and
-Climate and Health
We are no stranger to important programs and organizations closing their doors in Oregon, that does not make this situation any easier to come to terms with. At the same time, the influx of support, the reflection on memories and key health equity wins that many of you have been sharing with us over the last few weeks means the world to us.
Please continue to share with us your stories, join us as we go into the next month reflecting on what we have accomplished and dreaming about what can come next in health equity and advocacy work.
