Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2nd, between 3:00-8:00pm, our friends at the delicious Burgerville (8218 NE Glisan St) are donating 20% of Dine-In, Takeout, Drive-Thru, and Pick-Up orders back to NorthStar Clubhouse!

“Food is mood"- Car

Like the springtime surrounding us, our Nutrition & Wellness Unit at NorthStar Clubhouse has been blooming over the last year🌸

Each week, our kitchen comes alive with a balance of meals: two meat-based, two veggie-based, and one fish dish. And lately, we’ve been hearing more and more complements specifically about the plant-based meals we’ve been creating and sharing together! 🌱

At NorthStar, food is more than connection, skill-building, creativity, and care. Our Nutrition & Wellness Unit is just one of the many ways we support each member to thrive.

We're kicking off Mental Health Awareness Month next month with Clubhouse Giving Day on May 1st - a day where Clubhouses around the world come together to raise funds for individual Clubhouses and the Clubhouse movement! You can donate until May 31st.

As a part of these festivities, all are welcome to attend a NorthStar open house on May 15th from 2:00-5:00 PM!

Keep Portland Accessible!

A few weeks ago, we collaborated with our auspice agency, New Narrative, to attend a TriMet open house regarding proposed bus line cuts (line 19 - a proposed cut - goes right in front of our building). We talked with some engaging TriMet city planners about our mission and concerns, and we are eagerly awaiting the final cuts announced in mid March.
