āœØ Passionate about supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence
āœØ Committed to culturally specific programming for Black/African American and LGBTQIA+ communities
āœØ Dedicated to trauma-informed care
āœØ Invested in safe housing as a basic human right
āœØ Ready to share their expertise, connections, and ideas to strengthen our work

We are especially seeking applicants with experience in:

Womenā€™s Equality Day is a reminder that equality must include ALL women.

Here are 3ļøāƒ£ "not so fun" facts about Women's Equality Day:

1. It EXCLUDED women of color and marginalized groups.
2. Trans women, and the trans & non-binary community at large still face barriers to voting.
3. Before August 26, 1920, society held deep-rooted beliefs that women were intellectually unsuited for politics.

Too many survivors of domestic violence are STILL silenced, controlled, & denied the freedom to shape their own lives. Supporting survivors means challenging the systems and circumstances that make equality feel out of reach.
