🏕 Sending the kids to summer camp? Here’s a tax tip:

If you're paying for day camp so you can work or look for work this summer, you may be able to get reimbursed for some of the cost when you file your taxes next year thanks to the Child and Dependent Care Credit!

This credit can be worth up to $3,000 for one child or up to $6,000 for two or more children.

Some big things to note are that not all camps qualify, kids must be under 14 to be claimed, and you'll need receipts to verify your costs.

You can find the full details in this article that breaks it down nicely: https://www.cpapracticeadvisor.com/2026/05/21/summer-camps-may-qualify-for-dependent-care-tax-credit/183783/

🎇 July 4th Tax Fact: Did you know the IRS has nothing to do with fireworks taxes?
