From a world record to an award-winning documentary! 🎬🏆 And now, GOOD MOMENT is coming to SEATTLE!

Following its premiere at the SOHO International Film Festival in New York City, where it took home the award for BEST DOCUMENTARY, Good Moment is headed to Washington Hall in Seattle on Friday, October 23!

The film follows Ian Mackay, founder of Ian’s Ride, and his incredible pursuit of a world record. In 2022, Ian traveled 184.4 miles in just 24 hours using his mouth-controlled power wheelchair.

But this story is about so much more than breaking records.

It's about life after paralysis. The power of community. The freedom found in nature. And what's possible when people have access to the tools, support, and opportunities they need to pursue adventure.

At the heart of Good Moment is a message we believe in deeply: The outdoors should be accessible to EVERYONE. 💚

Researchers at Mayo Clinic are exploring how time outdoors and exposure to natural light may affect bowel care for individuals living with spinal cord injuries. And they're looking for YOUR input!

If you are 18 or older and have experienced a traumatic spinal cord injury, you're invited to participate in a short, confidential survey.

✅ Takes just 10–15 minutes
✅ Can be completed independently or with assistance from a caregiver or family member
✅ Completely voluntary
✅ No identifying information collected

Your experiences could help researchers better understand the relationship between nature, natural light, and health after spinal cord injury.

We’ve made it home safe and sound. Many thanks to the folks at Toronto Pearson for their patience and care. Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport we were greeted with happy, familiar faces. Their accessibility crew is top notch! Is it just me or is Greg’s hair longer every time I see him?
