Discover the timeless wisdom of God's providence, guiding leaders to honor Him and to obey His Word. The Bible holds the keys for defeating evil and securing salvation for our souls. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us that humility, prayer, and repentance can bring healing to our land. God's providence is seen time and time again as leaders seek to honor Him and obey His Word. The Bible has the answers for defeating evil and the salvation of our souls and of nations.

2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Happy Presidents Day!

“Give me grace to hear Thee… with reverence… that it may accomplish in me the good work for which Thou hast sent it.” That was George Washington’s prayer at age 20.

Our first president had the stature and presence of a king. An accomplished soldier, popular, a natural leader. But instead of claiming a crown, he bowed his head. He knew that all he had, all he was, was from and for his Heavenly Father.

Reverence is not weakness. It’s the strength of a man who knows who God is—and who he is not. Reverence shaped Washington’s life—how he led, how he served, how he laid down power when others begged him to keep it.

Those are the kind of leaders we need today.

At Trail Life, boys learn that reverence is:
Courage rooted in humility.
Leadership shaped by prayer and service.
Honoring God when no one’s watching.

In a culture eager to crown the self, this is a different path—The way of The Kneeling General. The way of the Savior who came not to be served, but to serve.

Proclaim liberty to the generations to follow! We have a Republic to keep.

"At a time, when our lordly masters in Great Britain will be satisfied with nothing less than the deprivation of American freedom, it seems highly necessary that something should be done to avert the stroke, and maintain the liberty, which we have derived from our ancestors. But the manner of doing it, to answer the purpose effectually, is the point in question. That no man should scruple, or hesitate a moment, to use arms in defence of so valuable a blessing, on which all the good and evil of life depends, is clearly my opinion. Yet arms, I would beg leave to add, should be the last resource, the dernier resort. Addresses to the throne, and remonstrances to Parliament, we have already, it is said, proved the inefficacy of. How far, then, their attention to our rights and privileges is to be awakened or alarmed, by starving their trade and manufacturers, remains to be tried." George Washington, Letter to George Mason, April 5, 1769
