Plymouth County Family Support believes in giving back to the community. We will be busy tonight and this week awarding deserving graduating Seniors of the class of 2026 with scholarships. These scholarship awards will go to graduates that promoted a positive inclusive environment for all throughout their academic and sports careers. Congratulations to the class of 2026! 🧑🏽‍🎓

What happens when your loved one with special needs turns 22? It’s major quandary, but one of the places to turn to is Plymouth County Family Support, Inc. (PCFS).

Find out more on this episode of the Breaking The Ice Lets Talk Inclusion podcast, hosted by Jim Coughlin, Executive Director of PCFS, with Dakota Phillips, Agency with Choice Coordinator.

They discuss what their function is, along with upcoming programs, services, and resources for adults ages 22 and over who have aged out of the school system. PCFS serves the numerous towns of Plymouth County.

At PCFS, the focus is on helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives while staying connected to their families and communities. Through personalized support and family-centered services, they provide resources and guidance that empower both individuals and caregivers. PCFS is a major supporter of The Great Blizz.

Their Agency with Choice program gives families greater flexibility and control over care by allowing them to help select and direct their own support staff, while Plymouth County Family Support handles payroll, administrative responsibilities, and ongoing support. It’s a collaborative approach designed to put families and individuals at the center of decision-making.
