As I mentioned before I have personally spoke with the awesome people there and you do NOT have to be in financial need to come and take items. So please go ♥️♥️

Today is the day!! Come on down for FREE diapers, wipes, baby formula, food (frozen and pantry), pet food and supplies, hygiene products, cleaning products and more! Our market is open from 10am-1pm. A few things to note:
- If you have reusable bags...please bring them
-Please do not line up prior to 9:45am. You will be asked to come back at that time if you arrive early.
-Please be kind to our staff...this is in addition to their every day roles and they work hard to make the market happen.
-Please make sure you come between the 10am-1pm market hours. If you arrive after 1pm, we will not be able to assist you.
-EVERYONE is welcome! Times are tough and everything is expensive. We are here to help supplement your needs during these tough times.

Krista Bongarzone, owner of Max & Mia Children’s Salon, which has locations in Plymouth and Hanover, recently announced a new program for foster families. I love the ladies at this center and love seeing a group forming for us parents ♥️♥️

This FREE group will provide foster and adoptive caregivers with a space to connect with others who share similar experiences. Each week will focus on building community through conversation, shared experiences, encouragement and connection in a judgement-free environment.

We are offering Spring/Summer clothing. Please refer to the sign-up sheet in the comment section. Note that underwear, socks, and sneakers are not included in this form. Summer shoes will be provided if available.

As always, you will be notified via text when your bag is ready, so please ensure your contact information is included on the form. Once notified, we expect prompt pickup, as we will be taking time off starting June 5th. After that date, bags will no longer be available. Thank you!

This pertains to active foster homes, preadoptive and adoptive homes, as well as kinship homes.

Boxes of Diapers at 9 page Ave Kingston 1 case per foster, adopted, adoptive, kinship child so if you have two foster children in your family and one adopted child and one bio child, you would get three boxes

The Friends of the South Shore Foster Closet has started our 2026 Operation Backpack. We will fill approx 125 backpacks with school supplies by June 5th for use in our July back to school

The Friends of the South Shore Foster Closet are filling backpacks with school supplies to give to at least 125 local foster, kin, adopted kids on July 13th at our back to school event. We (Sharon and Jeanne) are planning to take some time to spend with our families this summer.

We will be closed June 5th until August 15th.

We will be having our back to school backpack event on JULY 13TH though. More information to come!

We will be having one more summer clothing pack sign up in the last week of May. More informtion to come!

We will be having a fall/ winter clothing pack sign up in September.

We will not be taking any donations at our locations until further notice.

During this time we will still help out with individual requests if we are available.
