Last month, the Kendall family celebrated a meaningful milestone after receiving a new accessible van through Jett Foundation’s Accessible Vehicle Fund. With transportation no longer a barrier for Beckham Kendall, who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, Beckham and his family can now travel more easily, attend medical appointments, and enjoy everyday life together.

Jett Foundation would like to give a warm welcome to Kristin Haupt Byerley, who recently joined our Community Ambassadors team!

Kristin is a mom from Pennsylvania whose 5-year-old son, Kilian, was diagnosed with Duchenne in 2024. Since his diagnosis, Kristin has become Kilian’s full-time caregiver and a dedicated advocate for his needs. Her goal as a Community Ambassador is to give back to the Duchenne community, providing support and encouragement when it’s needed most.
