One St. Louis family has a little more freedom thanks to Jett Foundation’s Accessible Vehicle Fund. In September, 19-year-old Henry Diemler received a new accessible van.

Having a van that accommodates his power wheelchair makes getting out and about much easier for Henry and his family. He can now bring his power chair wherever he goes, giving him more independence and more opportunities to spend time with those he loves.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! We’re excited for all the adventures ahead for the Diemlers.

We’re just one week away from our New York Family Workshops in White Plains and Harlem, and there’s still time to register!

Join us on October 24th or 25th to connect with clinicians, researchers, and other families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Duchenne care, discuss topics like advocating for your child and yourself in the school system, and discover resources available to support your family.

Applications are officially OPEN for our Accessible Vehicle Fund! 🚗❤️

Getting where you need to go shouldn't be a battle. Our Accessible Vehicle Fund provides financial support to help Duchenne families secure safe, accessible transportation and the independence they deserve. Accepted participants raise half or more of the amount needed to purchase an accessible vehicle. Once fundraising is complete, Jett Foundation purchases the vehicle directly from the vendor and gifts it outright to the family.

Who is eligible?
❤️ Must have an official Duchenne muscular dystrophy diagnosis.
🇺🇸 Must be a U.S. citizen living within the continental United States.
