🐱 Meet Lola — A Sweet Girl Who’s Earned Her Rest

A Home for Weary Wanderers Rescue | MA Lic. #313

Lola has spent much of her life doing one thing: giving. This gentle girl has brought litter after litter of kittens into the world, and now — finally — it’s her turn to be cared for.

Lola is coming into foster care with AHFWW, where she’ll get to experience something she’s never really had before: a warm, quiet home where she is the one being loved on.

To get her off to the best possible start, Lola will need:
🩺 Vaccinations to protect her health
✂ Spay surgery so she can live her best life without any more litters

We just received a surrender request for Kal, a sweet 7-year-old Lab mix, due to his owner’s financial hardship. As we all know, this is a growing crisis across Massachusetts, and we are committed to helping as many animals as we can.

We are in IMMEDIATE need of a foster for Kal!

Here’s what we know about him so far:
✅ 7 years old
✅ Lab mix
✅ Up to date on vaccinations
✅ Neutered
✅ Good with other dogs
✅ Good with cats

More information coming soon as we learn more about this sweet boy. If you can open your home to Kal — even temporarily — you could be the bridge he needs to find his forever family.

This sweet mama cat has done her job beautifully — she raised her babies, and now her kittens are ready to fly the nest and start their own adventures. But before mom can move forward, she needs a soft place to land.

We are urgently seeking a foster home for this hardworking girl so we can get her spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She deserves the chance to finally rest, recover, and be cared for — no more worrying about the next litter.

We don’t have a photo just yet, but we didn’t want to wait. Finding her a safe, loving foster home is the priority right now.

And like a typical Chihuahua, Zeus will need slow introductions — but he’s absolutely worth the patience! He would do best in a home with older children who have experience with the breed. 💛
