⭐ HELP ELLEN'S STAR SHINE! ⭐
Meet another one of our Dinner With The Stars Ellen Vaughn!

If you've been involved in the El Dorado County business community, chances are you've crossed paths with Ellen. She currently serves as Interim CEO of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce, after years of serving in Chamber leadership at El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce.

But Ellen's service to our community goes well beyond business. Over the years she has also given her time to community organizations and countywide efforts, including serving on the El Dorado County Early Care and Education Planning Council.

Now she's bringing that community spirit to Dinner With The Stars, helping us raise funds to provide women coming out of crisis with a safe place to heal, grow and begin again.

And don't forget, our Stars are competing! Every donation made in Ellen's name helps her Star shine a little brighter AND brings New Beginnings closer to opening the doors of our Women's Safe Home.

⭐ MEET OUR STAR: Heather Murdock! ⭐

Today we're shining the spotlight on Heather Murdock, and after learning more about her story, it’s easy to see why the mission of New Beginnings is so close to her heart. ❤️

Heather is a Placerville-based speaker, author and leadership coach who has spent more than 15 years encouraging people in faith, healing and transformation. She and her husband Vince founded Rise and Rejoice Ministries, and Heather also spent years serving as a Celebrate Recovery ministry leader, walking alongside people working to overcome some of life's hardest struggles.

She is also the author of Rise and Rejoice: A Heart Transformation Journey for Women, a Bible study centered on helping women move beyond their past and toward healing, freedom and purpose.

Sound familiar? ❤️

That's exactly the kind of new beginning we're hoping to help provide for women right here in El Dorado County.
