Top Ten Graphics produced for The Honor Bowl: Number Eight: Every year there was excitement for the national showcase for the teams that would be part of this amazing event. The #8 graphic for The 2015 Honor Bowl – hosted by Oceanside High School included classic images of a Notre Dame player entering the field with the American flag and a former Navy Seal parachuting into Carrol Stadium with the game ball. ‘It’s more than just a football game!”

Since 2010, The Honor Bowl has welcomed over 225 teams from 15 states to play in honor for the men and women who volunteer to serve and protect our country. Even though The Honor Bowl will not occur in 2025, we want everyone to remember the impact this nationally recognized showcase had on the countless athletes, coaches, fans and communities!

Top Ten Graphics produced for The Honor Bowl: Number Nine - The Honor Group utilized social media to promote The Honor Bowl and The #9 graphic is an example of the long list of graphics that were designed and posted. The Honor Bowl was blessed to have many top photographers from MaxPreps come and use their talents to capture amazing images. This graphic is an example of how these photos display so much emotion and why The Honor Bowl was ‘more than just a football game!

TOP TEN graphics produced for The Honor Bowl: The 2019 Honor Bowl was hosted by James Logan High School in Union City. For the first time The Honor Bowl had games in the East Bay. Head Coach Ricky Rodriguez vowed to his administration when interviewed for his position that the Colts would be part of and potentially host The Honor Bowl! Little did I know about that until I met Coach. The number ten graphic was inspired by a post by Coach Rodriguez of his son on the field! “Dad, one day I want to play in The Honor Bowl!”

HONOR BOWL: Players who have participated in Honor Bowl games that went on to play in the NFL - Not a bad list of teams and players! Coaches jumped to be part of the finest High School Football Showcases in America. Why? Was it just because it was a good match up? Did it satisfy the need to fill a game on a typically tough pre league schedule? No doubt about that but the true reason was to play in HONOR of the men and women who volunteer to serve their country and sacrifice - sometimes with the ultimate sacrifice. The Honor Bowl started in 2010 and America never experienced what was presented before games, at half time and post game. This list continues to grow because of the great schools around America who opted to play in The Honor Bowl!

The Yellow Ribbons on Douglas Blvd will come down soon and if you or someone you might know would like to help - January 4th is the scheduled day!

Thank you to everyone who helped to place these ribbons back in November to HONOR the men and women who volunteer to protect our freedom here and abroad. Through your generosity - we hope the people who traveled down this street were reminded that 24 hours each day there are people who tirelessly serve in our Armed Forces!

The Day Remembered - a riveting documentary Executive Producer Rick Sutter | The Honor Group. Mark Soto Producer, Narrator. This doc was filmed in San Diego, CA at the Balboa Park Veteran Museum in 2011 and follows 7 Marines who were injured in both Iraq (Fauzia) and Afghanistan (Sangin). 2024 Douglas Blvd - Granite Bay Ribbons are up! Thank to everyone who braved the cold and darkness to help put up ribbons again for the 17th time! We all hope that these symbols of hope and prayer for the safety and safe return to all those currently serving around the world in the U.S. Armed Forces. We do this for those also who have given the ultimate sacrifice - ribbons at Quarry Pond all have names written of the fallen. If you get a chance to go there, take the time to look over the ribbons and reflect on the HONOR and respect these heroes deserve.
Another thanks to the Place County Up Pageantry girls who come out to help with this amazing event.

Congratulations to all of the teams that participated in the 2024 Honor Bowl - both in California and Arizona. Each of the players were given a 2024 Honor bowl helmet sticker to wear with the fact: Most teams that do this play far beyond League, playoffs and championships!

2024 Honor Bowl Player Awards: Now that the Honor Bowl is 'history', all players that participated deserve a round of applause and a resounding 'Get Some!' For each game there are two Character (Chosen by the Head Coach) and MVP Awards (recognized by the media is attendance) given to worthy Athletes on each team. Here is the list of the 2024 Arizona Athlete Awards. Congrats and we hope this will provide a memory for each of you.
