🔥 Defensible Space Assistance Programs Available!

Building a more wildfire-resilient community takes all of us and the El Dorado County Fire Safe Council is here to help. Thanks to grant funding, several assistance programs are available at little to no cost for eligible West Slope residents.

🌲 Chipping Program – Reduce wildfire fuels around your home with up to two free chipping services per year.

🏡 Defensible Space Assistance – Help is available for those who need it most. This program supports seniors, veterans, low-income residents, and individuals with disabilities in creating defensible space around their primary homes.

🌳 Hazard Tree Removal Cost Share Program – Removing dangerous trees can be costly. This program helps offset expenses for removing hazard trees within 100 feet of structures.
