TONIGHT, Thursday October 1st. 6-7:30pm

^Cue the Sarah McLaughlin music^

Every day dozens of craft kits get thrown in the trash by people who had the best intentions but never found the time. Now you can experience the joy of claiming one of these completely unused craft kits as your own, saving it from the land fill. Join us on October 1st, choose any kit you like, get started on it, and then take it home to finish (if you don't get done).

Space is limited by the number of kits Melissa got during Covid and never completed. (To be fair, it's hard to unsubscribe from those things, isn't it??)

It's a great day for a library visit WITH PLANTS!

We had a wonderful terrarium program last night. These are some extra plants. They would be a nice addition to your houseplants, or buy a few and make your own terrarium!

They are only $2!

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, like public libraries around the nation, are struggling with the cost of e-books.

Every year in October the American Library Association highlights the freedom of Americans to read books about all sorts of things without limits. We're participating by hosting a Book Group where folks come and share the challenged/banned books that have earned a place in their hearts. More information and registration can be found on our events calendar.
