Exciting things are happening in three school districts within the Jefferson Regional Foundation service area!

Steel Valley School District recently unveiled its new elementary school, bringing pre-K-5 students together in a modern learning environment designed to support future generations. Nearby, Bethel Park School District is preparing to welcome students to its new elementary center, while Brentwood Borough School District continues construction on its new building, scheduled to open later this school year.

These investments reflect a shared commitment to creating safe, innovative spaces where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

We’re still celebrating an unforgettable day at the 2026 Jefferson Regional Foundation Conference! ✨

We were honored to have Emmy-nominated actress, producer, director, and BEYOND THE GATES star Tamara Tunie as our keynote speaker.

From the moment she stepped on stage, Tunie brought energy, authenticity, and inspiration to our nonprofit partners.

Congratulations to Global Links and Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank, winners of the inaugural Jefferson Regional Foundation Unified Voices Award! The decision was voted on by their peers of grantee partners.

Through their partnership, the organizations hosted public drive-through diaper distributions in Clairton and McKeesport. They provided families with a month's supply of diapers for their babies. Together, they have served 300-400 families, helping to address an essential need for parents and caregivers throughout our communities.

The recipients of the Unified Voices Award, along with all of this year's nominees, demonstrate the power of collaboration to strengthen communities, improve lives, and create lasting impact.

Thank you for your outstanding work!
