This week, our World Religion Explorers learned about the Jewish holiday of Sukkot and the tradition of building a sukkah, a temporary shelter used by the Israelites on their long journey after leaving Egypt. Our explorers built their own sukkahs out of blankets and then discovered how hospitality can be a spiritual practice, reflecting on the importance of making space for others and helping everyone feel welcome.

Our World Religion Explorers group continued their preparation for this year's journey around the world this week. We dove into the significance of souvenirs as tools to help us remember different places and experiences that we encounter. We hope to save a souvenir from each week's journey that will help us remember all that we learn throughout the year!
