Over 25 years of successfully offering tuition-free machinist training, credentialing, and job placement services for over 130 area manufacturers that hire our program completers! This need is the foundation for our organization and we have developed programs (in coordination with our community resources) that develop skilled employees and act as the backbone for our region’s manufacturers.

Happy Mfg Day 2026!!!

Thanks to Catalyst Connection for hosting another stellar day of building awareness AND linkage for our youth to careers in manufacturing. John was demonstrating the CNC while Allison was letting the youth know about all the cool things you'll make as a machinist!

The whole month is Mfg Month...join us in continuing to celebrate our amazing American manufacturers, and the professionals that drive that success!!

Starting this week, households across ten SWPA counties will receive invitation letters for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Young Adult Survey.

Conducted by RAND Corporation with support from the Endowments, the study will follow young adults ages 18 to 24 over five years. Young adults who receive an invitation and participate are compensated for their time.

It's Manufacturing Month, and we kicked off our first event with a tour with students from Baldwin High School!!!

They learned that in a few short years, they too can qualify, learn, earn credentials, and be looking for an exciting career in Advanced Manufacturing through the MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) tuition-free machinist pre-apprenticeship.

Earn that certificate, and you can head on into a Registered Apprenticeship and FULL TIME pay at one of over 130 partner companies!!!!

Let the celebration begin...and don't forget that Mfg Day 2026 is TOMORROW. You'll see us on the road!!!!

We will be joining Catalyst Connection and many other vendors for the annual Mfg Day 2026 at Mill 19!

NCC's Allison Schubert and John Alexander, CMfgA, RMFG will be there to answer all of your questions and showcase how the MANUFACTURING 2000 pre-apprenticeship is your direct pathway to a great career in Manufacturing.

John will also laying down some CNC coding while Allison will be showcasing examples of components you will be making in your career!
