Last week marked the completion of our final Summer Camps for 2026 🥺 Our weekly camps at North Park and South Park got kids of all ages outdoors throughout the entire summer. Campers learned about outdoor survival skills, fishing, biking, and more!

Almost all of our camps were fully booked. Such a success would not be possible without all the hard work from our Outdoor Educators and camp staff ♥ thanks for all you do!

Last weekend we paddled on the Ohio River during our 3 Rivers Watch program while we shared information about different types of water pollution. It's great to have partners like Venture Outdoors who can bring their traveling fleet of kayaks to places like Kilbuck Township. We saw many different native wetland plants along the banks of the river-- a good sign of a healthy ecosystem!

Last weekend, we teamed up with Three Rivers Waterkeeper for another 3 Rivers Watch! This time, we hit the Ohio River and learned about different types of water pollution, how to identify them, and the important work TRWK does to keep our waterways clean!

The other week community members paddled on the Monongahela River during our 3 Rivers Watch training. We talked about different types of pollution in our waterways and how to spot and report it. Shoutout to Venture Outdoors for their traveling fleet that allows us to get kayaks to different parts of our rivers!
