With over 10 years of experience as a mentor, educational consultant, and advocate, Icylee will share practical tools to help families strengthen their support networks. Participants will also explore the Seven Keystones of Support and strategies they can use in their personal and professional lives.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a time to recognize the skills, talents, and contributions of people with disabilities in the workforce.

But preparing for employment doesn’t start with the first job application. It starts in school.

Early conversations about a student’s strengths, interests, goals, education, employment, and independent living can help build a path toward the future they want.

PEAL’s PA Planning for the Future Checklist helps youth, families, and IEP teams think ahead, ask important questions, and identify next steps for life after high school.
