Pittsburgh Regional Transit takes public engagement seriously: it has hosted over 150 events over the course of the hashtag and has a really useful website to help us understand proposed changes to service.

Check out https://lnkd.in/gu_m3WSP to see an interactive map of the systemwide proposal, to compare current and future service on any given route, and to see a list of upcoming live events. (Also see below for upcoming event dates!)

And if, like me, you want to also compare travel times, you can do that in TransitApp. 🤓

Today is the World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims -- a time for all of us to come together to remember and honor the individuals that have been killed and seriously injured on the roads.

Bike Pittsburgh and the QCares Foundation held a powerful remembrance ceremony this morning in McKeesport to honor all the individuals, families, and friends that have been directly impacted by this issue, and to raise awareness about the major safety issues that still exist in some of our communities.

You're looking at the environs of - wait for it - two TriMet park-and-rides! And North America's largest bridge for transit, peds, and cyclists only. What an amazing story of partnerships and intentionality at these and so many other stations areas along the Max Orange Line, creating places embraced by the community and where people want to be. We were proud to take part in an amazing Mpact: Mobility, Community, Possibility mobile tour!
