🌱🍎 Something special is growing in Allentown! 🍎🌱
Our Allentown Community Garden continues to become exactly what we hoped it would be: a beautiful, welcoming place where neighbors can gather, connect, relax, and grow fresh food together.
We’re excited to share some of the latest additions to the garden, including new benches and a picnic table, giving residents even more opportunities to sit, enjoy the space, meet a neighbor, have lunch, or simply spend a little time outdoors. And one of our favorite sights right now? Our apple trees are full of ripe apples! 🍏🍎
The garden represents so much of what the Allentown Community Development Corporation works toward every day — strengthening our neighborhood, creating inviting community spaces, bringing people together, and finding practical ways to improve quality of life for Allentown residents.
Food insecurity and limited access to fresh, healthy food remain real challenges in our neighborhood. The Community Garden was built not only as a place of beauty and connection, but also as a place where we can grow food locally and help make fresh produce more accessible to our community.
Every tree planted, every garden bed built, every bench installed, and every gathering held here is another investment in Allentown and the people who call it home.
We’re incredibly proud of how far this space has come — and even more excited about everything still ahead. ❤️
Come by, take a seat, enjoy the garden, and if you see a ripe apple, you’ll know Allentown is growing in more ways than one. 🍎🌿
