TRCF promotes "Change, not charity," by funding and encouraging activism among community-based organizations in Southwestern PA.

Three Rivers Community Foundation (TRCF) advances social change through grantmaking, advocacy, and capacity development for grassroots and other organizations. TRCF embraces and practices Change, not charity (TM) by empowering grantee organizations to ensure social, economic, and environmental justice in Southwestern Pennsylvania. TRCF has six key issue areas, but by no means do all the groups we

fund fit into these! Disability Rights; Economic Justice; Environmental Justice; LGBTQ Rights; Racial Justice; and Women's Rights. We provide grants for both operations and projects. Founded in 1989, we have awarded more than $1.2 million to more than 300 different organizations in our 10-county region of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
