Today, on the holy Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we give our hearts to Jesus. And, as tired and wounded as we are, when we unite our hearts to Jesus’ Heart, we are filled with His love, forgiveness, compassion and mercy.

The Unites States bishops consecrated our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, knowing He can soften the hardness of our hearts and ignite a passion to live for Him! At the consecration, Archbishop Bernard Hebda, St. Paul – Minneapolis, said, “If we approach the heart of Jesus, on fire with his love, it’s going to set even our dry or hardened hearts on fire. . .The wounded heart of Jesus desires to speak to our own wounded hearts.” And, Archbishop Alexander Sample of Portland, Oregon emphasized, “The Sacred Heart of Jesus is not merely a symbol, it is the living Heart of the Risen Lord, still beating with love for humanity. In that Heart we find our true home. In that Heart we discover who we are. In that Heart we find the freedom for which we were created.”

At Côr Ministries, our mission is to connect with every stage of family life, single, young (or older) adults, engaged couples and married couples to rebuild the foundation of marriage and family, the heart of society. Join us as we honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus and pray the Consecration to His Sacred Heart.

With your generosity, we can make a difference and impact future generations.

Today as we celebrate the birthday of St. John Paul II, he reminds us “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” Strong families start with strong marriages. If the family breaks down, marriages crumble and vice versa. We are working diligently to re-build the foundation at every stage – families, young (and older) single adults, engaged and married couples.“The family…is the foundation of society.” (Gaudium et Spes, 52) What we do at Côr Ministries is crucial and needed, now more than ever.

As Côr Ministries of PGH approaches our third year, we are so very grateful to you. Everything we have accomplished in three short years is due to your prayerful support, commitment, love and generosity for our mission, to be authentically Catholic as we strive to prepare, enrich and sanctify marriage and family life.

Your prayers and generosity make all the difference in what we can accomplish. In honor of the birth of St. John Paul II and for our third birthday, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a one time donation or monthly donation to enable us at Côr Ministries PGH to continue to sustain and grow our mission. We can't do this without YOU! Marriage and family are the cornerstone of civilization; the heartbeat of society. We cannot underestimate the importance of healthy, holy and, yes, imperfect marriages and their effect on today's culture.

Côr means "heart" in Latin, and our goal is to get back to the heart of marriage and family by building a culture rooted in good food, faith and community.

Together, we can make a difference for generations to come! For a chance to be entered into a raffle for a FREE Retreat in a Box experience, be sure to follow Côr Ministires, link, share and tag one person in this post to be entered to win.

With peace and gratitude,
Dolores and Ashley

“The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about marriage and the family.”- Sister Lucia of Fatima told Cardinal Carlo Caffarra

Today, on the 109th Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, the messages from our Lady are more urgent now than ever before.

Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima with a call to prayer, sacrifice, repentance, and conversion. But she also greatly emphasized the heart of the spiritual battle of our time: marriage and family.

We are living in that battle today.

The attacks on marriage, the confusion about family, the isolation of parents, the wounds carried by children, and the breakdown of the home are not merely cultural struggles — they are spiritual ones.

That is why Côr Ministries exists.
We believe strong marriages build strong families. Strong families build strong communities. And strong communities change the world.

On this Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, we entrust every husband, wife, mother, father, and child to her Immaculate Heart. May she strengthen families with courage, restore hope where there is brokenness, and lead us back to her Son.

The future of the Church and the world passes through the family. And the fight for the family is worth everything.

Today, we invite you to stand with us in this spiritual battle for marriage and the family — and in doing so, help build stronger communities rooted in faith, hope, and love.

We humbly ask for your prayers — for our ministry, for all the couples and families we serve, and for the renewal of family life throughout the world.

Together, through the intercession of Our Lady, we can help strengthen marriages, restore families, and renew communities for generations to come.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.🙏🏻

Happy Mother's Day to all! All women are called to motherhood physically and/or spiritually. What a gift women are to our world and all they do to sacrifice for the good of others.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who
fled to your protection,
implored your help or
sought your intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto you,
O Virgin of virgins
my Mother;
to you I come,
before you I kneel,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of
the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your clemency
hear and answer me.
Amen.

Today, on the Feast of the Annunciation, we remember Mary’s yes — a quiet, faithful yes that changed everything.

Marriage begins the same way.

And over time, that yes is lived out in the ordinary moments — in patience, in forgiveness, and in choosing one another again.

But sometimes… that yes needs to be renewed.

Introducing Retreat in a Box™!

You choose the place.
We prepare everything.

Simply arrive, open the box, and begin.

When was the last time you chose each other on purpose?

Not in passing.
Not between everything else.
Not at the end of a long day.

But intentionally.

Marriage doesn’t grow by accident. It’s formed in the small, daily choices — in patience, in forgiveness, and in showing up again and again.

And yet, those are often the first things to get lost in the busyness of life.

Every marriage needs space.
Space to slow down.
To reconnect.
To remember why you said yes in the first place.
