VFW Auxiliary 214

VFW Auxiliary 214 The VFW Auxiliary supports projects that benefit veterans, active-duty service members and their families. We also spread patriotism in our community.

The VFW Auxiliary is one of the nation’s oldest veterans’ service organizations and our members are the relatives of those who have served in a location of foreign conflict. We have nearly half a million members nationwide who volunteer millions of hours and fundraise millions of dollars for charitable projects that benefit veterans, military service personnel, and their families. Through our Nati

onal Programs, we assist the VFW pass or block legislation that impacts veterans and their families, provide nearly a million volunteer hours in the VA medical system, conduct patriotic programs with thousands of dollars in scholarships for our nation’s youth. With nearly 4,000 Auxiliaries, there is likely one in your area working to improve the lives of America’s uncommon heroes.

Thank You for Your Leadership - Steve Stefanik

The Officers and Members of W. Ralph McNulty Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 214 are honored to recognize Steve Stefanik, who has become Past Post Commander following the VFW Department of Pennsylvania Convention.
Steve has been extremely active with the Post for over 30 years and has diligently and selflessly served in many officer positions. He has led with integrity and dedication during that tenure as Commander. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 214 has celebrated and endured the challenges, changes and improvements that are necessary to continue the traditions of patriotism, service, and civic engagement needed to carry on successfully as an organization in the Lawrenceville community.
Included among Steve’s contributions are his leadership and participation hosting fundraisers for the Lawrenceville Memorial Day Parade, North Pittsburgh Quilts of Valor, Boy Scout Troop 73, The Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard and for members, veterans, and those in the local community who needed us to rally around them. He was wholeheartedly committed to recognizing veterans in the community through Veteran Tribute Banners and leading an Honor Guard to render a salute respecting the service of deceased veterans from the area. Steve regularly collaborated with Lawrenceville Historical Society, Lawrenceville United, Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 23, Veterans Administration Veteran Service Officers and Benefits Representatives, as well as other government, fraternal, and civic organizations. His generosity with his time and talent in service to others has touched many in the Lawrenceville area.
As a new Post Commander and staff of officers are installed for the 2026 – 2027 administrative year, they will rely on Past Commander Stefanik’s experience, wisdom, and mentorship to solidify the continuity of his leadership legacy.
The VFW Post members, employees, Auxiliary members, social members, and our neighbors are extremely grateful for Steve Stefanik and his caring contributions to serving Veterans and the Lawrenceville community.
