'It is with the heaviest of hearts that we faced the inevitable and walked our dear friend Coco to the Bridge, as she made her way to Heaven! Because all dogs go to Heaven!
Coco’s story is a sad one until she found us. Her story does not differ from the reality of most rescue dogs.
We choose to tell you about the story after:
When she was loved!
When she was, and will always be, a cherished member of my family (foster mom) and the Paw Kindness family!
When she was free to be herself, despite her broken parts!
We choose to tell you how much she mattered to us and how much we love her!
Coco’s spot in our routine is now empty, but everything she taught us and all the memories we have made will carry us until the day we meet again!
THANK YOU is not enough for the people who support us!
To the one donor who makes all this possible—you know who you are; we cannot do this without you! Thank you!
Northern Regional Veterinary Hospital: Thank you, Dr. Starks and staff, for supporting us and providing ongoing, exceptional, and compassionate care for all of our animals!

Thank you for showing up and capturing sweet Coco’s true spirit, providing lasting, unforgettable memories that we will cherish!
To my OG, my friend Amy Weir , who has volunteered many, many hours to provide photos for every dog that came and left us: Thank you. Amy provided the intake photos for our Coco 10+ years ago. We miss you...
For all the friends who sent messages to us for delivery to Heaven by Coco, they have been sealed and delivered! If you are interested in sending a message to a loved one in Heaven with us, we will pin the instructions.
To our friend and family member, Coco:
You are so loved and will be greatly missed. We are honored to have been chosen as your guardians!
Be kind. Kindness is free. Help a senior dog, or any dog—you will not regret it. Volunteer, foster, adopt, be a responsible human, and spay and neuter your pets. Leave this earth and its critters better than you found them.
