What an incredible seminar! 📸
Three photographers. Three very different perspectives. One inspiring morning celebrating the art, craft, and profession of photography.
Scott Baxter shared his decade-long journey documenting Arizona’s historic ranching community through powerful portraits and candid storytelling.
Joel Grimes brought us into his world of portraiture, commercial work, and the dramatic lighting that has become such a signature of his style.
Jeff Kida of Arizona Highways took us through 100 years of extraordinary photography from the magazine’s archives—including work by David Muench and Ansel Adams—and shared valuable insight into getting your work published.
The conversation continued with an open Q&A covering everything from digital image manipulation and making a living as a photographer to navigating criticism and staying true to your work.
Nearly 500 images filled the screen throughout the morning, but what stayed with us most were the stories, experience, and perspectives behind them.
A wonderful morning of photography, conversation, community, and inspiration.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a great success!
