Pops for Paws Foundation

Our mission provides funding and resources to prevent animals from entering local shelters.

Founded in 2023, Pops for Paws Foundation's mission is to support local animal rescues by awarding grants, providing funding for medical care, microchips, tags, and other resources on a case by case basis. In providing this funding, we can help decrease the homeless pet population by ensuring that local rescues are able to house and medically treat animals in need, without the worry of taking on the extra expenses that come with onboarding new animals in their care. Our goal is to ensure that no rescue is forced to say "no" to taking in an animal because it is short on funding. Therefore, our main focus is fundraising, via online donations and community events. Spreading the word about how important rescues are to helping with the epidemic of homeless animals in Arizona.

September 20th brought another Cardinals game at State Farm Stadium, and our Pops for Paws crew was there working the concession stand. 🏈🐾

The Cardinals may have lost to the Seahawks 31–7, but we came away with a win of our own — raising $1,161.44!

Big thanks to our volunteers for putting in the work and to everyone who stopped by our stand. ❤️

October’s Monthly Rescue Grant is going to Sunshine Dog Rescue. 🐾❤️

They currently have several medical dogs in their care, so when they told us this grant came at just the right time, it meant even more to us.

$700 to help provide care for dogs who need a little extra help getting to their second chance. And we’re honored to be a small part of that.

We do it for the animals. 🐾

☕🐾 Happy National Coffee Day!

Enjoying a free coffee today? What if we turned our daily coffee budget into something life-changing for animals in our community? ❤️

Just $5 from each of our 1,000+ followers could mean $5,000 going toward helping local rescues, animals in need, and families trying to keep their pets at home.

That’s a whole lot of good from the price of a cup of coffee! ☕🐶

Zach Bryan at State Farm Stadium 🎶🤠

Pops for Paws was back at the concession stand for another big night of country music, and our team raised $991.24!

Another concert, another fun night with our volunteers, and another opportunity to put those stadium shifts to work for the animals.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand and to the crew who came out and made it happen. ❤️🐾

Karol G took over State Farm Stadium on August 29th, and Pops for Paws was there for it. 🎶🐾

Our concession stand brought in $1,350.92!

We love these stadium nights because they give us another way to raise funds while having a little fun along the way. A huge thank you to our volunteers who came out to work the stand and everyone who stopped by to see us.

Another great night in the books. ❤️🐾

Today we remember the 2,977 lives lost from the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

And we honor the nearly 10,000 more who have since passed from illnesses linked to the cleanup.

But we also remember the heroes with four legs.
Around 300 dogs worked the rubble at Ground Zero.
They searched for survivors.
They helped recover the lost.
They stayed close to exhausted workers, giving quiet comfort in ways only dogs can.

Across America, countless more dogs helped their grieving owners through the deepest pain. Offering love, kisses, and the soft presence of their companionship every single day.

Dogs never asked for praise.
They just showed up with loyalty and light.

Dogs are truly amazing.
Honestly… we don’t deserve them.

Thank you to every rescue dog, therapy dog, and family dog who helped us heal in the days, months and years after that horrific day.

We will never forget.

🏈 Well… that wasn’t exactly the Cardinals outcome we were hoping for. 😂

But on August 22nd, while the Cardinals took on the Cowboys, something else was happening inside State Farm Stadium…

🐾 The dogs were having a pretty good night.

Our first concession stand event of the season brought in $810.67 for local animals! ❤️

That’s the part of football season we really love — taking a little piece of game day and turning it into something that helps animals in our community.

The Cardinals may have lost this one, but we’re calling it a W for the pups. 🐶🏆

Now we just need the Cardinals to start helping us out with the other kind of W. 😉😂

🐾 September Grant Recipient 🐾

This month, Pops for Paws Foundation is proud to award our $700 rescue grant to Paw Placement Animal Rescue! 💙🐶🐱

Paw Placement is a no-kill, all-breed rescue dedicated to reducing euthanasia through rescue, adoption, and education. Their incredible foster network gives dogs and cats a safe, loving place to land while they wait for the perfect forever home. 🏡❤️

From kittens and senior cats to Pitbulls and Papillons, they believe every animal deserves a chance — and they work hard to make sure each one finds the right family.

We’re honored to support the incredible work Paw Placement is doing for animals in our community. And as always, thank you to our supporters for making these grants possible! 🐾💙
