🐾 June Grant Recipient 🐾

This month, Pops for Paws Foundation is proud to award our $700 rescue grant to Desert Paws Rescue Cats! 💙🐱

Since 2008, Desert Paws Rescue has been giving cats a second chance by rescuing those at risk of entering high-kill shelters and pulling cats from shelters that might otherwise face euthanasia. Through loving foster homes, medical care, and dedicated volunteers, they help some of the most vulnerable cats find the forever families they deserve.

They are especially known for stepping up for cats that others may overlook, including Ringworm+, FIV+, and FeLV+ cats, ensuring they get the care and opportunity they need to thrive.

Beyond rescue, Desert Paws is committed to educating the community about the importance of spay and neuter, helping address Arizona’s homeless pet crisis at its source.

We are honored to support their lifesaving work and grateful to our supporters who make grants like this possible every month. 🐾💖

🍔 Little Burger needs a little help 🍔

We found this tiny guy behind a Burger King in the bushes — just 1.5 lbs and already having a rough start. Since coming into care, he’s been dealing with nonstop diarrhea that we just can’t seem to get ahead of.

He’s already had a vet visit, a f***l test (that came back normal), food changes, and probiotics… and nothing has fixed it yet. Poor guy just isn’t feeling good. 💔

Tomorrow we’re sending in another sample for a much more in-depth f***l test to try and finally get some answers. Even then, we may still be looking for answers after that — but we’re not giving up on him.

Meet Roxy, Tyberyus, and Rex — a family we are proud to sponsor through our spay and neuter assistance program.

Roxy previously had a litter where only 3 puppies survived after battling parvo. Two of those puppies were adopted through rescue, and one stayed with mom — Rex. Now, thanks to the funds raised through our events, concessions, donations, and community support, we’re helping ensure this family receives the care they need to prevent future unwanted litters and give them a healthier future.

Here are just a few ways Pops for Paws Foundation provides support:

🐶 Spay & Neuter Sponsorships
We help sponsor spay/neuter surgeries, often including a 1-year rabies vaccine through our veterinary partners.

🏥 Medical Assistance Grants
We provide up to $400 in vet bill assistance for families facing unexpected medical expenses for their pets.

🐾 Monthly Rescue Grants
Each month, our volunteers vote to award a $700 grant to a rescue organization making a difference in the community.

🎂 Birthday Grants
Volunteers can celebrate their birthday by selecting a rescue to receive a $300 grant sponsored by Pops for Paws Foundation.

Because of supporters like YOU, we’re able to continue creating impact one animal at a time. Thank you for being part of it. ❤️

Did you know that over 35% of our yearly funding comes from our partnership at State Farm Stadium? ❤️🐾

Throughout the year, our team operates a concession stand during Cardinals games, concerts, Monster Jam, soccer matches, and other major events. Every purchase and every tip helps support Pops for Paws Foundation and the animals we serve in our community.

It’s one of the biggest ways we’re able to continue providing assistance, resources, and support for animals and families in need — and we couldn’t do it without our incredible volunteers and supporters!
