3 Ways to Overcome Shame

1. Bring it into the light.
Shame grows in secrecy. Talk to God, be honest with trusted people, and stop carrying what you were never meant to hide.
📖 1 John 1:9 — “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us…”

2. Remember who God says you are.
Shame says, “You are your mistakes.” God says your identity is bigger than your past.
📖 Romans 8:1 — “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

3. Walk boldly in your calling.
Don’t let embarrassment, failure, or people’s opinions keep you from what God has called you to do.
📖 Romans 1:16 — “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…”

🔥 Bottom line:
Shame tells you to hide. God calls you to stand.
