❤️ National Loving Day ❤️

Love shouldn't have limits.

Today we honor the courage of those who challenged barriers and helped create a world where love, connection, and belonging can thrive.

✨ Different backgrounds. Different stories. Shared humanity.

When people feel seen, heard, and accepted, healing becomes possible and communities grow stronger.

❤️ Love builds bridges.
🤝 Connection creates belonging.
🌎 Belonging helps us thrive.

💬 Reflection Question: What is one thing that helps you feel safe, accepted, or supported in a community?

🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Today is your official excuse to celebrate joy in its simplest form, donuts.

Community question: What’s your go-to donut flavor… glazed, chocolate, sprinkle, gluten free lemon or something unexpected? 👀👇

Every time someone chooses authenticity over fear, connection over division, and hope over silence, love wins.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the courage to be yourself and the power of communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.

Because a brighter future is built when people are free to live, love, and lead as their authentic selves. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Hello June! ☀️

Over the past several months, our theme has been Growing Together. As we enter June, we're carrying that momentum forward with new intentions.

This month, we're focusing on three ways we can put our intentions into action:

🌺 Create Together- Conference planning for our 4th Annual Embracing Hope Conference begins June 12. We look forward to bringing together peers, family members, trainers, partners, and community leaders to help shape a conference anchored in connection.

📚 Learn Together- New training and professional development opportunities continue this month as we invest in strengthening Arizona's peer and family support workforce and expanding pathways to learning and leadership, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

🎤 Connect Together- We're excited to join the Peer Specialist Webinar Series through Doors to Wellbeing National Technical Assistance Center, creating opportunities to share Arizona's experiences while learning from peer leaders across the country.

The next chapter is about taking what we've learned and putting it into practice. We're looking forward to a full month of creating, learning, and connecting!

May reminded us how important community-based support really is 💚

This month, PFCA provided trainings that reflected the real needs showing up across our communities from substance use awareness and education to co-reflective spaces in both English and Spanish, extending into workforce conversations about professionalism and community wellness intersections.

One thing we continue to see is that people are looking for support that feels human, culturally connected, and grounded in connection. Not everyone connects through the same doorway, which is why expanding accessible and community-rooted learning spaces matters.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re grateful for every trainer, participant, partner, and organization continuing to invest in this work with us. The conversations are growing, the need is growing, and so is the community behind it.

We’re excited for what’s ahead 🌞

A familiar face you've been seeing since last October is officially stepping into the spotlight... say hello to Zoomie the Roadrunner!

Zoomie represents the energy behind our Community Trainer Model and the momentum building across Arizona. What began as a vision has grown into 18 Roadrunners statewide, bringing local voices, lived experience, and community-driven solutions to the places they call home.

The roadrunner is an Arizona icon known for being adaptable, resilient, and always moving forward. That spirit reflects the way we work because we believe communities already hold wisdom and strength, and our role is helping create space for those voices to lead.

The journey also extends beyond Arizona roads. Zoomie reflects the connection built within our virtual spaces, where relationships, learning, and community continue to grow across counties through our Zoom rooms.

Thank you to our Roadrunners for carrying connection, innovation, and lived experience into communities throughout Arizona. The journey continues 💙🌵
