Important context from APS on data centers and energy costs. APS already has separate rates for extra-large users and is proposing more protections to keep the cost of new demand with the customers driving it. Growth should pay for growth.

With misleading claims circulating about whether data center growth is affecting energy bills, we know our customers want clear, accurate information.

The simple fact is: APS is ensuring that residential and small-business customers are not paying for data center power usage.

When a data center or manufacturer comes to Arizona, APS is requiring that they pay for the infrastructure and power needed to serve them.

Good conversation at Arizona State University earlier yesterday for Wells Fargo Water Week on how Arizona can build on its strong water track record and keep supporting growth.

Glad to welcome U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin back to Arizona yesterday for a roundtable with business leaders and local officials.

A good conversation on what Arizona needs to keep growing while protecting the environment and giving businesses the certainty to invest.

Following the discussion, Administrator Zeldin announced EPA’s proposed approval of Maricopa County Rule 204.

This is a major step toward giving Arizona more tools to cut emissions while keeping investment, expansion and job creation moving.

Glad to be at the Capitol yesterday celebrating HB 2693, a bipartisan win that will give Arizona small businesses more options and greater buying power when it comes to health coverage.
