The next May Faire Planning meeting is tomorrow, April 7th at 3:30pm in Ms Sundquist's room. All are welcome to come and see where help is needed. We are looking for a class that is willing to run the petting zoo and any families that may have some soft and cute farm animals we cans show off! We also welcome ideas about fun games and crafts that we could incorporate into the faire.

With wind gusts pushing 90 mph and power outages rolling across the Valley, we witnessed what makes this community incredible. You showed up with heart, courage, and that unmistakable Sourdough spirit.

To our community members: thank you for braving the storm to support the students of Birchtree Charter School. Your presence made the day shine despite the weather.

To our vendors: you brought creativity, resilience, and a fantastic display of the talent that lives in the Valley. We’re grateful you chose to spend your day with us.

To our student vendors: your entrepreneurial drive was on full display. Thank you for showing up, giving your best, and working toward your DC trip with such determination.

To our parent and student volunteers: you powered this event—setup, bake sale, cleanup, and everything in between. Your teamwork made all the difference.

If you couldn’t make it out today, we missed you and above all we hope that you are safe. Anyone who is without power, we hope the heroes out on the lines right now are able to restore it for you soon.

Despite the storm, today was a success because of all of YOU.
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone next year!

Come join us this Saturday from 10am to 4pm for our annual Holiday Market! we will have many community vendors with a variety of locally and handmade items. The students of Birchtree Charter School will also be selling their own wares and doing a bake sale to support their 8th grade Washington DC trip.

The Colony Calypso Steel Drum band will be playing live music at the event and there will be a raffle for several items from the attending vendors and a quilt raffle for the quilt pictured here. Proceeds from the raffle go to the Birchtree Parent Guild to support Birchtree students' growth and development through the school.

There will be a Holiday Market planning meeting at Birchtree on Monday the 27th at 3:30pm. The Holiday market is scheduled for December 6th and we need parent helpers for this event.
