Out of my own struggles and victories, God prompted me to start Fallen Up Ministries. As a former inmate, addict and a current felon I know the struggles a person faces once returning to society and the world. Through my Savior Jesus Christ I have gained victory over my past, my addiction issues and my prior criminal lifestyle. I know deep in my heart that if God can change a woman like me, He can

change anyone. I was in and out of prison starting at the age of 14 up until my last stay in 2005, where I received a 20 year prison sentence for a drug charge. Up until 2005 I struggle all my life with alcohol, op**te and m**h addiction. My criminal activity included prostitution, selling drugs, manufacturing m**h, and violence. My life changed in 2005 when I was finally arrested and I was forced to really take a look at my life. I forfeited everything in my life; including my children due to my poor choices and drug use. Once in prison I realized that it was time to stop and that prison was Gods way of getting my attention...it was a divine appointment for me to be there. My life has changed fully and I have completely surrendered to Jesus and have no desire to ever return to my old lifestyle. Christ healed me of my addiction issues and has given me a brand new heart.

Our site now has an interactive map tool that tracks behavioral health crisis response improvements, and it’s an incredible resource for those looking to learn more about the collective effort that’s being made to better respond to those in a psychiatric crisis.
