As we wrap up an incredible summer with the ISMD Crew, we’re reflecting on all of the memories we made together.

Our end-of-the-summer field trip to Island H2O was filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable moments. Throughout the summer, we created new memories, made new friends, and got to know ourselves and each other better. We laughed, learned, encouraged one another, and continued growing together every step of the way.

Thank you to every teen, parent, volunteer, and supporter who made this summer so special. We are looking forward to an amazing school year together and can’t wait to see all that our teens will accomplish! ✨🫶🏾

Orange County District 6’s Back-to-School Fair at Carver Middle School was a tremendous success!

From community resources and school supplies to sports physicals, immunizations, scholarship presentations, and exciting raffles, the day was filled with opportunities to support students and families as they prepare for the new school year.

Thank you, D6, for bringing the community together, and thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event a success. Today, we honor the life and legacy of our Co-Founder Nilja Denise Hunter. Her kindness, beauty, and impact continue to inspire us, and her memory will forever live on through the lives she continues to touch. She will always be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed. 💕🖤

Yesterday, a few of our teens had the amazing opportunity to attend the National Black Prosecutors Association (NBPA) Youth Conference!

Through mentorship, career exploration, and an interactive mock trial, they gained valuable insight into careers in law, public service, and the criminal justice system.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that expose our youth to new possibilities and inspire them to dream bigger. Our teens represented I See My Destiny Inc. with excellence, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Last night started with an anonymous icebreaker and ended with a competitive spelling bee where the losers had to choose between Truth or Challenge. Let’s just say… Challenge was the crowd favorite!

Nothing beats learning, laughing, and growing together. 💫
