Parent involvement is essential to the success of our teens, and tonight, we officially wrapped up our FIRST Parent Engagement Meeting! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to all of our ISMD parents who joined us both in person and virtually. Your presence, participation, and support mean so much to us. We know that it truly takes a village, and we are grateful to have you as part of ours!

Yesterday, our teens had an amazing opportunity to receive real and raw mentorship from Jamisin Lacy | Transformational Youth & Leadership Speaker 🖤

Not only did he share his incredible accomplishments, but he also reminded our teens of the importance of chasing their dreams, putting in the work, and doing it the RIGHT way.

Thank you so much, Jamison, for coming out and pouring into our teens at Carver Middle School. Your words, transparency, and encouragement truly made an impact! ✨

A great start to an amazing school year! 💙 Today, we came together for our first mentoring session to learn more about ourselves, each other, and I See My Destiny Inc. We’re excited for all that’s in store and look forward to a year filled with growth, connection, and new opportunities! ✨

Thank you to the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF) for believing in our mission and investing in the future of Central Florida teens. We’re excited to continue creating opportunities, providing meaningful experiences, and helping teens pursue their destinies.

We look forward to an amazing school year as we continue to pour into the lives of teens, expand our efforts, and make an even greater impact.

6 YEARS OF IMPACT.

Today, I See My Destiny Inc. celebrates 6 impactful years of making a difference in the lives of teens.

Founded on September 11, 2020, what began as a vision has grown into a movement dedicated to meeting teens where they are, creating meaningful experiences, providing opportunities for growth, and equipping them with the confidence and courage to pursue their destinies.

Today is also a special day for our Founder & Executive Director, who celebrates 29 years of life and 6 years of bringing this vision to life.

We are grateful for every teen, family, school, partner, volunteer, donor, and supporter who has contributed to the ISMD journey.

6 years. Countless lives impacted. One purpose.

The ISMD CREW is officially gearing up for an impactful Fall 2026 season! 🖤💛

September through December will be filled with mentorship, life skills, leadership, educational experiences, community service, family engagement, and opportunities for our teens to grow.

We’re also welcoming volunteers who believe in our mission and are looking to make a difference in the lives of teens. Whether you can mentor, support events, assist with activities, or simply be a positive role model, there’s a place for you in the movement!

As we wrap up an incredible summer with the ISMD Crew, we’re reflecting on all of the memories we made together.

Our end-of-the-summer field trip to Island H2O was filled with laughter, fun, and unforgettable moments. Throughout the summer, we created new memories, made new friends, and got to know ourselves and each other better. We laughed, learned, encouraged one another, and continued growing together every step of the way.

Thank you to every teen, parent, volunteer, and supporter who made this summer so special. We are looking forward to an amazing school year together and can’t wait to see all that our teens will accomplish! ✨🫶🏾

Orange County District 6’s Back-to-School Fair at Carver Middle School was a tremendous success!

From community resources and school supplies to sports physicals, immunizations, scholarship presentations, and exciting raffles, the day was filled with opportunities to support students and families as they prepare for the new school year.

Thank you, D6, for bringing the community together, and thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event a success. I See My Destiny Inc. was honored to partner in this impactful day and recognize the recipients of the Nilja Denise Hunter Scholarship as we celebrated the beautiful life and lasting legacy of our beloved Co-Founder, Nilja Denise Hunter. 💕

Today, we honor the life and legacy of our Co-Founder Nilja Denise Hunter. Her kindness, beauty, and impact continue to inspire us, and her memory will forever live on through the lives she continues to touch. She will always be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed. 💕🖤
