A youth literacy + empowerment nonprofit TRANSFORMING YOUNG LIVES THROUGH THE POWER OF WORDS! Here's what we do:

AFTER-SCHOOL LITERACY ENRICHMENT.

Every year, Page 15 hosts a variety of literacy programs that playfully and powerfully engage youth in sharing their unique creative voice while reinforcing and advancing critical reading and writing skills. From the first draft to the final edit, these programs are designed to support readers and writers of all abilities. Creative writing, journaling and sharing for students in the Parramore community. This program runs Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays from 3pm-5pm in the Downtown Rec Complex (363 N. Parramore) and is open to any student in grades 4th-8th grades. PUBLISHING STUDENT WORK. The sense of accomplishment and authenticity when sharing personal work cannot be encouraged enough, so Page 15 is committed to publishing student work through its annual High-School Anthology project. Each year, High School students from around Orange County are invited to submit a short story or essay to be considered for final publication in a beautifully bound, illustrated book. CREATIVE WRITING CAMPS. During the spring and summer breaks, Page 15 hosts creative writing camps that playfully and powerfully engage youth in sharing their unique creative voice and talents while reinforcing and advancing critical reading and writing skills. The Young Writer's Camp is held over 7 weeks each summer and offers students the opportunity to write, illustrate and publish a book with the help of creative professionals.

That’s why literacy matters to us. We believe every young person deserves the space and encouragement to develop their voice and know that what they have to say matters.

Meet Ashley Gonzalez! 👋

Ashley is a creative from Miami who enjoys working in education. She earned her B.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida, along with a minor in Crime, Law, and Deviance and a certificate in Behavioral Forensics.

She is currently a graduate student at UCF in the Counselor Education Program on the Marriage, Family, and Couple Therapy track. Ashley is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota and a student advocate for the International Association for Resilience & Trauma Counseling.
Ashley first joined Page 15 as an intern during our 2025 Young Writers Summer Camp, and we’re excited to have her continue her work within our community.

When she’s not at Page 15, Ashley enjoys crafting, baking bread, and tending to her garden. 🌱
