Page 15 A youth literacy + empowerment nonprofit TRANSFORMING YOUNG LIVES THROUGH THE POWER OF WORDS! Here's what we do:

AFTER-SCHOOL LITERACY ENRICHMENT.

Every year, Page 15 hosts a variety of literacy programs that playfully and powerfully engage youth in sharing their unique creative voice while reinforcing and advancing critical reading and writing skills. From the first draft to the final edit, these programs are designed to support readers and writers of all abilities. Creative writing, journaling and sharing for students in the Parramore comm

unity. This program runs Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays from 3pm-5pm in the Downtown Rec Complex (363 N. Parramore) and is open to any student in grades 4th-8th grades. PUBLISHING STUDENT WORK. The sense of accomplishment and authenticity when sharing personal work cannot be encouraged enough, so Page 15 is committed to publishing student work through its annual High-School Anthology project. Each year, High School students from around Orange County are invited to submit a short story or essay to be considered for final publication in a beautifully bound, illustrated book. CREATIVE WRITING CAMPS. During the spring and summer breaks, Page 15 hosts creative writing camps that playfully and powerfully engage youth in sharing their unique creative voice and talents while reinforcing and advancing critical reading and writing skills. The Young Writer's Camp is held over 7 weeks each summer and offers students the opportunity to write, illustrate and publish a book with the help of creative professionals.

We couldn't be more excited to welcome a new class of young writers — and with more than 150 students already signed up, this is going to be an incredible summer. 🙌

None of this would be possible without our Presenting Sponsor, Massey Services. Their support means young writers across Orlando get to spend their summer creating, imagining, and finding their voice in a camp built just for them.

Thank you, Massey Services, for believing in these kids.

We are so proud to have Dr. DeShawn Chapman on our board! As the Director of Education at the Central Florida Urban League, DeShawn is on the frontlines of one of the most important conversations of our time — ensuring everyone has access to quality education, regardless of zip code or income.

Before her role at the Urban League, DeShawn served as Manager of Community Engagement and Partnerships at UCF — and if you know her, you know she is *the* connector. She has a gift for bringing together the people and organizations (like Page 15!) who are doing the real work, creating the kind of cross-sector relationships that move the needle for our entire community.

We’re so lucky to have you.

Today, we honor and thank the men and women who have served our country with courage, strength, and sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Your service helps create the freedoms and opportunities that allow young people to learn, grow, express themselves, and share their stories with confidence.

We are deeply grateful for your sacrifice and the impact it continues to make across generations.

Confidence doesn’t appear overnight.
It’s built slowly—through consistency, encouragement, and the courage to keep going.
We’re here for that process, from the first draft to the finished piece.

An unforgettable evening celebrating the release of Overripe—a powerful reminder of what happens when young people are given the space to tell their stories.

Thank you to for printing the book and to for sponsoring this incredible event.

Nights like these reflect the heart of our mission: creating community, cultivating creativity, and empowering the next generation to write their own futures.

At Page 15, we create spaces where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to share their stories.

Through summer camp scholarships, more young writers can access that experience—no matter their circumstances.
Your support helps make that possible. 💚

The future we imagine doesn’t start “someday.” It starts when a young person realizes they have a voice and learns how to use it.

That’s what our Anchors of Change do:

They build confidence through creative expression, strengthen real-world skills through literacy, and create community through storytelling.

Bigger than writing. Bigger than a classroom.

A future where young people are equipped to think, communicate, and lead.

We’re honored to share that Page 15 has received a $20,000 grant from Universal Orlando Foundation.

This investment fuels what matters most—creating space for young writers to discover their voices, tell their stories, and grow in confidence through the power of words.

Because when young people are given the tools to express themselves, their stories don’t just stay on the page—they shape what’s possible.

Thank you for believing in the next generation of storytellers.
