Camp Sunrise, Inc. is in its 35th year! Camp Sunrise believes no child or family should experience childhood cancer alone.

Each year we have three volunteer-driven, cost-free camping experiences for children with cancer and their siblings: Camp Sunrise, Camp SunSibs, and Camp at Hopkins. It is the support and compassion from our campers, volunteers, medical team, and staff that create the essence of Camp and bring us together each year. Camp Sunrise’s mission is to provide joyful and nurturing camping experiences that foster confidence, friendship, and fun for children and families on their cancer journey.

Save the Date! The Camp Sunrise Gala of Light will be held September 12, 2026 from 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD.

Every year, Camp Sunrise, Inc. supports over 250 campers across 3 camps; Camp Sunrise, Camp Sunsibs, and Camp at Hopkins. Celebrate with us at an elegant evening honoring our camps and campers.

This fun event features a cocktail hour, raffles, a silent auction, a live auction,
and dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom.

Also, Camper Ambassadors will be present to share Camp stories.

Our skating event that was originally scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to the upcoming snowy weather! We have rescheduled the event to Sunday, March 1 and look forward to seeing you then. please check your emails for more details. Stay safe and stay warm!

CALLING ALL CAMPERS AND VOLUNTEERS!! Registration for Camp SunSibs, Camp Sunrise and Camp at Hopkins is now open!!

Camp Sunsibs is a volunteer-driven, cost free, weekend overnight camp for siblings of children who have been diagnosed with cancer, held each Memorial Day weekend.
Camp Sunrise is open to children who are currently undergoing treatment, have completed treatment, or have received a bone marrow transplant.
Camp at Hopkins is open to children currently undergoing treatment that will take place in Johns Hopkins Children's hospital.
